Queen Bee Beauty is compliant with The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Information Commissioner’s Office guidelines. Queen Bee Beauty is committed to protecting and preserving the privacy of visitors when visiting the website or communicating electronically.
Please read the following carefully to understand what happens to the personal data that you choose to provide either through this website or prior to your treatment.
The Personal and Medical data that you give is only required for purposes that are related to treatments. The data may be used to send automated reminder texts to clients 24 hrs before the appointments, occasional marketing emails advising on new treatments, promotions or change of treatment procedures or opening times.
Unfortunately, the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. Queen Bee Beauty cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send electronically. Sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
Your personal information will never be forwarded or sold to a third party. It is only in the instance where it is legally required by law to disclose your personal information, further fraud protection or reduce the risk of fraud.
You have the right to ensure that your personal data is being handled lawfully (“Subject Access Right”). Your subject access right can be exercised in accordance with data protection laws and regulations. Any subject access request must be made in writing to laura@queenbeebeautiful.com. If you have a concern about how your information has been used or stored, please contact laura@queenbeebeautiful.com in the first instance, and then, in accordance with your rights, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Should you feel that you no longer want Queen Bee Beauty to store your personal data, simply contact me and the data will be deleted from the system within 48 hrs.
Any changes made to the Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.

Bookings
A treatment may be rescheduled up to 3 times with 24 hours notice, following this to reschedule again a 50% deposit will be required or the treatment will be cancelled.

Courses
If a course of treatments is purchased and any or all of the treatments within the course have been taken, then the cost of the course is non-refundable, the remaining credit may be used against other treatments.

Arrival / Lateness
Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment time, if you arrive late the time of the treatment may be adjusted accordingly in consideration of other clients booked following your treatment.

Cancellation
24 hours notice is required to change a treatment time or cancel a booking, or the full cost of the treatment will be charged or deducted from a course of treatments. A no show for a treatment signifies a late cancellation and a full treatment charge will apply.

Personal Health
It is your responsibility to inform me of any health-related issues including pregnancy, medication, as well as previous and recent aesthetic procedures. It is your responsibility to ensure that on the day of your treatment you are physically well and capable of having the treatment and that you are not aware of any medical condition or changes in medication that may cause you to have an adverse reaction to any treatments you receive.
Any health, diet or lifestyle advice given is only my professional opinion and is given with the best intentions, if you have any medical condition which may require further advice and investigation, please consult with your G. P. or consultant.

Mobile Phones
To enjoy the maximum benefit from your treatment, you are requested to switch off your mobile phone prior to entering the treatment room.

Under 16
Clients under the age of 16 are very welcome and must simply be accompanied by an adult; a signed consent form will also be required before treatment.

Valuables
Please ensure that you keep personal items with you at all times, it is advisable during the treatment that your personal items should be in the treatment room with you, but please be mindful that they are left at your own risk, Queen Bee Beauty cannot take responsibility for these items.

Complaints
Queen Bee Beauty is committed to providing treatments of the highest quality and to the upmost satisfaction and safety of all clients. However, if you wish to make a complaint, please contact laura@queenbeebeautiful.com in the first instance; your complaint will receive an acknowledgement response within the first 7 days and will be dealt with in further depth within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint, please contact the Federation of Holistic Therapists at info@fht.org.uk.
